Schuco 450030600 1/18 Porsche 356 A Speedster 1600 GT
The Porsche 356 was the company's first production automobile. The official birthday of the Porsche 356 is considered to be 7th July 1948, as this was the date that the first test report about a Porsche Coupé was published. With a total production of 76,302 vehicles, the last of the 356 series rolled off the production line in April 1965.
In 1954 the range was joined by the Speedster, an open top sportscar with a flat windscreen and fully folding, lower roof than the cabriolet. The doors had glass panes instead of wind down windows. Bucket seats emphasised the sporty feel of the car. The Porsche 356 A Speedster 1600 GT has an impressive 115 hp.
